If I buy a USD gift card can I use it in another country?

For some brands you don't necessarily need to reside in those countries to redeem the gift cards/vouchers. For example, you can buy an American Eagle or Walmart gift card that is denominated in USD and still use it at Canadian stores or for Amazon if you have an account on Amazon.com then you can purchase a USD Amazon gift card and apply it to your Amazon.com account. However, it's best to check with the brand to see what their policies and conditions are.

In general, we recommend that you purchase gift cards and vouchers in the native currency for the country you wish to use the gift card/voucher in. Otherwise it is unlikely to work because most brands have restrictions on using gift cards/vouchers in other countries.
